Hey guys,
This is just a quick comment on the part of your podcast (Episode 38) where you comment on the 2nd Admendment of the U.S. Constitution.
While I respect and enjoy listening to your opinions on most of your content, I must disagree with you. The 2nd Admendment was implimented for the protection of the citizenry from invaders, and also in an extent the Government itself. You would notice that throughout history govenments that abolish the right to own weapons ussualy also forcably control the citizenry(i.e. Nazi Germany/Communist Russia).
It is also mentioned in the Declaration of Indipendance that it is the right of the Citizenry to abolish any form of Government that ailenates the citizens rights. Usually these overthrows of governments are by force and without weapons, such as firearms, it is impossible to unseat an unjust government.
So I think that owning weapons, firearms or otherwise, should be controlled but at the same time be allowed almost indefinitely. Sure, there are people who will cause trouble with these rights but that is to be expected in any country that allows freedoms to its people.
I would like to congradulate you gentlemen on your continued sucess and I hope to hear more podcasts and videos soon.

Dallas,
Don’t get us wrong, it’s not that any of us have any sort of fundamental issue with the second amendment. It’s more that, as Canadians, we find the idea that someone can just walk into a gun show and walk out with a small military arsenal with no background checks of any kind absolutely bizarre.
Plus, when an off-duty police officer visiting Calgary complains that he cannot carry his off-duty gun to respond to the grave threat of a couple of Calgary locals offering free tickets to the Calgary Stampede it does nothing but appear to confirm the worst stereotypes of a trigger happy culture.
