Skyrim: Dawnguard DLC gets pushed back (PS3)

Since the last days of June this year, Fans of “The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim” finally received the anticipated DLC “Dawngaurd” and have been enjoying it ever since…that is if you own a copy of Skyrim on XBOX360 or PC. PS3 owners are still waiting for their copy of the DLC to be available, and were promised mid-september. Well, the wait continues…

Developer Bethesda’s official blog released news this week that the DLC will not be ready for the proposed date of PS3 release. Though originally set to be an XBOX360 exclusive the developers had this to say about its arrival to PS3:

“We are not satisfied yet with Dawnguard’s performance on the PS3…We would like for everyone to have a chance to play Dawnguard, but we aren’t going to release it for PS3 knowing that some people’s experience in Skyrim will be worse. We do everything we can to have our content available to all; from our free updates, to our user mods, to paid DLC. We’re as disappointed as our fans when that isn’t the case, but we’ll continue to push for that reality,” – ( Bethesda’s official blog )

Skyrim fans playing on the PS3 Sony console have been eagerly waiting, but Bethesda says it would rather wait until the content is perfect. So the wait continues for all Sony console users. A (second) official release date has not been announced. Stay tuned..

Yet another example of Bethesda not giving a single fuck about PS3 customers of their games. I think I’ll reward them by never giving them another penny.
