Silent Hill HD collection wont be getting a patch on Xbox 360

It’s no secret that the Silent Hill HD collection released by Konami earlier this year faced more than a few problems. People who purchased the PS3 version recently got a title update that fixed some of the issues the games were facing but the Xbox 360 version has yet to get an update, and now we know that it never will since Konami has released a statement that reveals that they wont be patching the Xbox 360 version of the game.

“Today, Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced that while a PlayStation 3 online title update for Silent Hill HD Collection has been deployed for download via PlayStation┬«Network, plans for an XBOX 360 title update have been cancelled due to technical issues and resources.

Understanding the issues some users are experiencing, KONAMI issued a title update for Silent Hill HD Collection (PS3), which fixed frame rate issues as well as audio-synching and other reported issues. KONAMI apologizes to any players who are continuing to experience these issues on the XBOX 360 sku.”

A real disappointing thing to hear for Xbox 360 users for sure. Hopefully they have a change of heart and fix the game.

Even the PS3 version with its patch still runs like crap.
