Nintendo announces new games for the Wii U

Some new games have been announced during Nintendo’s Wii U press event today.  The first being Bayonetta 2 by platinum games.  Bayonetta 2 is set to be a Wii U exclusive published by Nintendo. Platinum games will also be making The Wonderful 101 (formerly known as project P100) for the console

Nintendo then went on to announce that Capcom will be bringing Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate to the system which features online multiplayer and cross save compatibility with the 3DS

Activision then took the stage to announce that they will be releasing Skylanders Giants, Wipeout 3, 007 Legends, Transformers Prime: The Game and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on the platform.  Transformers Prime is an exclusive game for the console based on the current Transformers TV show.

Finally Nintendo announced that they will have over 50 titles for the Wii U during its launch window of November 18th – March 2013 and announced a few more titles for the console like Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Epic Mickey 2, Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing: Transformed, Bit Trip Runner 2, Trine 2: Directors Cut, Nano Assault Neo, and both EA and 2K’s sports title lineups.

Not a bad library of games if you ask me.  I am specifically excited for Bayonetta 2 as I am a huge fan of the original.
