Final Fantasy VII to be Re-Released on PC

It seems Square-Enix is set to re-release the PC version of Final Fantasy 7 soon.  The game will be made available from the Square-Enix store sometime in the near future and will come with a few extra improvements to the game.  The main things mentioned are 36 new achievements that you can compare with friends online, cloud save games, and a “character booster” which will allow you to max out your Gil, HP and MP to make the game easier.  The minimum requirements for the game were also revealed which show that in order to run the game you will need to be running Windows XP and above with a 2GHZ processors, 1 Gig of RAM and a Direct X9 video card.

I’m honestly surprised it took them this long to just re-release the PC version of the game.  While I’m sure there are a lot of fans disappointed that they are not remaking it entirely this at least beats a stick in the eye.
