Skyrim: Dragonborn DLC coming this December

The newest DLC pack for Skyrim was announced recently  by Bethesda via the above trailer. The DLC pack focuses on the first Dovahkin and features new monsters, and dragon mounts. The Dragonborn DLC pack will coming to Xbox Live this December 4th for 1600 Microsoft points or $20. The PC version of the DLC will be coming at a later date, and I suppose a PS3 version might happen one day. That is, if they can ever get the first DLC pack to work on the PS3.

I really feel for those of you with the PS3 version of this game. Not only are you stuck with a somewhat broken experience but you also cant swap out your dragons for Macho Man Randy Savage. Read the rest of this entry »

Rayman Legends – Toad Story Gamplay Fottage

This gameplay footage from Rayman Legends shows of the games 5 player co-operative play in a level named “Toad Story”.

Seeing this footage makes me want to play the game even more, which makes the fact that the game wont be a launch title that much more disappointing. I suppose I could always replay Rayman Origins in the meantime but that would require me getting my PS3 out of storage and I am much to lazy for that. Read the rest of this entry »

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 – LG 3D Trailer

Now I know that the title for this trailer may be a bit misleading because it is not actually in 3D; however, this trailer which is meant to help promote LG’s new 3D TV line does show some new footage of Black Ops 2’s campaign so it may be worth a watch anyways. That being said it is pretty apparent that they meant to have this shown in 3D, what with the constant use of stuff flying at the screen throughout the trailer. Read the rest of this entry »

Trailer: Persona 4 Golden

Atlus has released the first English trailer for the upcoming re-release of Persona 4 on the PlayStation Vita. The game was originally released in the North America on the PlayStation 2 in 2008 but the port will have a few extra’s added on to it. The PSVita version will feature re-mastered visuals, new Persona’s, a new Opening Animation, and a new online dungeon rescue feature. The game is due out on November 20th of this year in North America.

Seeing that they are adding a bunch of new stuff and having the game available on the go really make me regret purchasing it for full price at Fan Expo back in 2010.  Especially considering that I never even opened it up to play it. Oh well, I suppose I can rectify that once this portable version comes out. Read the rest of this entry »

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale: Live Action Trailer

I have to say I was surprised by how much I like this trailer.  Sure it starts out making you think its going to be all dark and gritty but it ends up pulling through with a few laughs at the end.  That being said, if they are planning on using this as the games TV spot I have to say that they didn’t quite hit the mark of awesomeness that the original Smash Bros. commercial had. Halo 4 – ‘Scanned’ Trailer

The latest trailer for Halo 4 does actually surprised me as the trailer actually gives us a look at what Master Chief looks like under the helmet, or at least what he did look like at one point anyways.  The rest of the trailer shows off some impressive CG of the Chief fighting the games new antagonists.

The trailer has certainly peaked my interest in the title.  Even if I wasn’t a very big fan of the main trilogy, I did very much enjoy both ODST and Reach.  Read the rest of this entry »

Doom 3 BFG Edition – Launch Trailer

Bethesda has released its final trailer their remastered version of Doom 3 which releases today in the US at a budget price of $29.99. The main draw of the BFG edition of the game is an extra section called “The Lost Mission” which is content that was cut from the original game.

I missed out on Doom 3 back in the day thanks to my PC not being up to snuff but since then I have attempted to play it a few times on PC.  That being said I probably wont get this as I refuse to buy a game more than once, unless its name is Final Fantasy 4 of which I have 5 copies of…. for some reason. Devil May Cry – NYCC Trailer

Capcom recently showed off a new trailer for the upcoming reboot of Devil May Cry at this years New York City Comicon. The trailer certainly feels like the game is sticking to its roots with its massive use of Death Metal in the trailer itself.

In other DMC related news Capcom has also announced that they will be releasing a Demo of the game prior to its release; however, currently the demo is only confirmed to be coming to consoles.

I have to say that I certainly am looking forward to this reboot of Devil May Cry. Sure there are a bunch of fans up in arms about the new Dante redesign but I welcome the change. That and I am a huge fan of Ninja Theory. Read the rest of this entry »

DarkStalkers Resurrection Debut Trailer

Here is something that surprised me. Capcom announced that they are releasing a DarkStalkers compilation pack for XBLA and PSN that has both Night Warriors: DarkStalkers’ Revenge and DarkStalkers 3. The pack is called DarkStalkers Resurrection and will have the same treatment done to it as Street Fighter 3 and Marvel vs Capcom Origins. It’s expected to be released early 2013 for about 15 bucks.

While I am disappointed that this isn’t a new game for the franchise this at least gives me the hope that they may consider making a new one if this pack sells well enough. Plus a GGPO enabled version of DarkStalkers 3 does sound pretty cool. Read the rest of this entry »

Injustice: Gods Among Us – Green Arrow Reveal Trailer

NetherRealm studios just released its newest trailer for the upcoming DC fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us, showing us their rendition Green Arrow. NetherRealm also revealed the cover art for the game which features both Green Lantern and the Joker on the cover. So its probably safe to assume that they will be in the game in one form or another.

Considering how well the latest Mortal Kombat turned out I would have to say that I am definitely looking forward this game.  Also I think it’s pretty cool how they went for a more classic Green Arrow look rather than attempting to mimic the style of the CW version of Green Arrow.
